I live in San Diego and there is a Film Festival called Best Fest (http://www.bestfestsandiego.com). Anyways, I was wondering if anyone has ever entered nto this or entered this year? If so, how was the experience of being accepted or being denied by your film?

I go to Carlsbad High School in California and I was accepted into the Drama category with my film "A Girl and Her Squid", which I made with my friends Chris Mayer and Andy Fisher. I found out last week when David Larson (executive director of the Fest) called, giving me utter praise for the film. I found out a few days later that my other film, "The Erlking", recieved an honorable mention in Drama. So I'm very pleased, but hardly surprised

Oh thats cool. What exactly is honarble mention? My film made it in for a music video, my other film did not make it in for a documentary but I am very excited for the event.

Honorable Mention gets you a BestPass and just means that your film is good, but didn't exactly make the cut.
