The New Stand Film Festival is a trendy location to enjoy independent films in the heartland. Our restored 1910 Vaudeville theatre is the perfect place to enter your latest film projects, and for all to enjoy your winning work. With our diverse population celebrating Cinco de Mayo in the streets, we will offer you opportunities not found at other film festivals.

The 2008 Festival will be Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4.

Friday Evening 7 pm starts off the Festival with a full featured film.

Saturday is all day in downtown West Liberty! Enjoy the local restaurants, street vendors, and other entertainment while attending the Festival. Films showing 10 am-8 pm.

Sunday is Family Afternoon, beginning at 12 pm. We will be showing films appropriate for children and their families. You can never begin too early to appreciate the art of film making! Again enjoy the diversity of West Liberty all afternoon long!

Join us each evening for desserts and conversation above the theatre. A wonderful way to discuss and contemplate the films shown during the Festival.
