Attention filmmakers:

Paltalk.com — the Internet’s leading video chat community — is proud to announce an intriguing opportunity for aspiring filmmakers.

Paltalk is steadily developing its niche in the realm of user-generated content with a global audience of 4 million users to date. The site invites you to submit your films to be considered for inclusion on the site’s new independent VIRTUAL Indie Film Festival; if chosen, you will receive $100 compensation, while — thanks to the site’s text/voice/video-enabled chatting capabilities — raising further awareness and positive buzz for your hard work.

The channel launches September 6 and will showcase two new films each night. If interested, send any and all films of appropriate nature (keep it clean; no nudity, etc.) and length (20-90 minutes), in DVD format, by September 1, 2007 to:

Paltalk Indie Film Festival
1539 Sawtelle Blvd.
Los Angeles CA 90025

If running time exceeds 45 minutes, Paltalk reserves the right to webcast your film in two separate intervals (possibly over multiple days). Only independent productions (NO CORPORATE FUNDING) will be considered. If your film is selected, you will be asked to sign a Paltalk Release form for on-screen talent, voice and music. By submitting your film you agree to a non-exclusive right for a one-time license to air.

Again, films cannot contain any nudity and should maintain no more than the equivalent of a PG-13/R rating.

If selected, Paltalk will notify you with proper advance notice, so you’ll have time to get the word out. You will have the opportunity to appear alongside your film, and discuss it directly with viewers in a live Q&A (access to a PC is required for this).

Good luck,
Your pals at Paltalk.com
