Seventh Dimension Group presents the 2005 Gotham City Short Film Festival. The purpose of the festival is to provide a strong forum within which aspiring directors of today are able to show their creative strengths in what is commonly referred to as the "director's calling card": the short film.

Schedule of Events (subject to change up until time programs are printed)

Opening Night: Tuesday, September 6th 2005
Festival: Wednesday, September 7th - Sunday, September 11th

Awards Ceremony and Reception: Monday, September 12th, 2005.

Submission Deadlines:
Early Bird: 4/15/05. Regular: 5/15/05. Final Extended: 6/15/05.

Fifty finalists will be selected to have their shorts viewed by audiences during festival week. Judges will rate each finalist film based on the following six criteria:

Cinematography, Screenplay, Acting, Soundtrack, Technical Production, Overall Impression.

The following awards will be presented during the ceremony: Best Overall Film, Best Drama, Best Comedy, Best Documentary, Best Foreign, Best Animation, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Musical Soundtrack.
