MissingReel.com is a new online film competition for upcoming directors and film enthusiasts. Everyone is encouraged to submit video, ranging from drama to comedy, which will be viewed and rated by online users. MissingReel has implemented a unique cash prize system where the prize amount will increase depending on the number of film submissions and viewers. I believe many directors and actors may be interested in such a competition to increase their public exposure and receive comments from their peers. We are now accepting entries at MissingReel and the deadline is August 1st 2006. Also, after the competition is over we will give the filmmaker the option to store and stream their films on the MissingReel website free of charge. Thank you.

I don't want people to get the wrong impression. It's not really a film competition but just a place to put your films and have a community with other filmmakers and directors. A place where they can critique your films and you can critique theirs. As an added bonus I have decided that I can give away cash prizes but it's more about uploading films and getting input from the public.
