2005 AUSTIN FILM FESTIVAL TRAILER COMPETITION
WANTED: Trailers that promote/advertise the Austin Film Festival. No longer than 1.5 minutes. Trailer can be funny, serious, animated, an homage, a spoof, a respectful commemorative, etc. Above all, it should be entertaining and fun! Its intention is to rev the crowd up and excite them for and throughout the Festival. Trailer content must be suitable for general audiences.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Okay, to get an idea of what we're looking for, check out the winning trailers from past years:

HAVE YOUR TAILER VIEWED BY 4,000 PEOPLE! This is a terrific opportunity for burgeoning - and not so burgeoning - filmmakers to have their AFF Trailer viewed by an audience of approximately 4,000 people, including many industry professionals. Remember these are not Trailers for your films, but Trailers to promote/advertise the Austin Film Festival.

Four All-Access Producers Passes to the 2005 Austin Film Festival, which provides admission to all panels, October 20-23, all films October 20-27, invitations to the Opening Night Premiere and Reception at the historic Paramount Theatre, invitations to the Filmmakers Happy Hour, and invitations to the Texas Film Commission BBQ (total value: $2,600).
