Hi... I know there are alot of topics on here about all different kinds of film festivals, but each one of them varies as to who can participate and who can't... and some of the posts are really old and the festivals are no longer going on.

If anyone could do me a favor and direct me to any high school/college (I'm in high school) festivals that aren't limited to a certain area (Unless it's NY/NJ area)

I would like to send my film places but don't know where to look.

Google helped me find one festival they hold at temple... but that's it.

Hey,there is a film festival in Kansas called (cleverly enough) KAN Film Fest. If you enter into the open division then you wont have a state restriction. Entries are due by March 1st, which isn't very far away unfortunately. Visit KAN Film Fest for all the fun stuff, money prizes!!

I also want some info on Highschool/College level film fests.

I had made one for a particular date, put some money into it... and bought a new camera... but missed the date because I read the deadline wrong... I thought it was the 24th, it ended up being the 4th.

No, you didn't read it wrong, because I too thought that the Movie Gallery Student Film Competition was on the 24th, but then I look a few weeks later, and its the 4th...

Coincidence? Conspiracy?
HAHA, Maybe next year...

BTW, The 48 Hour Film Competiton dates for 2004 will be officially announced on FEB 14th, so you could enter that! I know I am, it's going to be awesome.
