RESFEST 2006 Call For Entries

RESFEST, the acclaimed film festival dedicated to new ideas and cutting-edge techniques, is seeking the world’s most innovative short films, animation, design films and music videos for its annual global tour, celebrating its 10th year. Selected work will screen at over 35 top venues on six continents from São Paulo to Singapore, Tokyo to Cape Town, New York to London, Sydney to Seoul. Audience Choice and Jury Awards will be given at the end of the tour.

Designed to support and inspire emerging talent, RESFEST showcases work in all genres and visual forms, shot or created in any format. The underlying guideline for submissions is INNOVATION. Entries should have been produced within the last two years. Acceptable submission formats are VHS, DVD, miniDV and Beta SP (NTSC preferred); acceptable exhibition formats are miniDV, Digital Beta or Beta SP (NTSC preferred).

EARLY DEADLINE: April 14th (entry fee: $25);
LATE DEADLINE: May 12th (entry fee: $30).
