Ok, so I shot my movie on a Digital Camcorder that's not even in High-Definition. Can I still enter into Film Festivals? More specifically, can I enter in Sundance?

Sundance, and most high end film festivals, requires actual film. A large number of entries are shot in DV and given a digital to film conversion, which is an option of yours. HD is neither required nor, to my knowledge, common.

Sundance does not require actual film to be entered into the contest. You can submit your film to them on DVD, and then should you be accepted they can project it in a specific digital format (not sure which one). You would not need anything for Sundance other than a DVD of your movie that matches their requirements (for submission).

Many festivals are using digital projection more and more, so I would just check the specific festival requirements and go from there.

Please don't post false information, even if unintentionally... Sundance and Cannes both accept digital formats. Digibeta for Sundance, and I think Cannes was HDCAM, but I don't remember for sure.

For the initial submission DVDs are always accepted.

You can also try the local circuits and see if you can build some buzz to get to the larger ones.

A lot of them accept high end digital formats like HDCAM or DigiBeta. Some smaller ones even accept Beta SP, but this is becoming more and more rare.
