The Cinestud festival for international student films enjoys a famous reputation in the Netherlands. Since its first edition in 1960, then-unknown film students such as Roman Polanski, Martin Scorsese, George Lucas, Paul Verhoeven, Jim Jarmusch, and Jane Campion have taken part in the competition and, unsurprisingly, managed to win it in most cases. Over the past forty years, Cinestud has become a brand name for original and progressive visions from new filmmakers and for a dynamic, sometimes anarchistic, and often rewarding forum of clashing eras: it is here where histories are being rewritten, futures are being formulated, and the present is being constructed out of shadows of the past and glimpses of the yet to come.

hi,I'm dtuch and I want to compete, but I'm 15, is this a problem because it doesn't say anything about age on the site?
