could it be so? ok, heres the deal. i just finished watching the 'ultimate edition' of T2, you know, getting ready for T3 and as i watched i noticed a few very close similarities with the matrix. a few obvious things like how everyone is very cold and emotionless, extream ammounts of gunplay, etc. but a few other things caught my eye. the one that got me the most was when the T-1000 is melting in the vat of hot lava stuff (see what college teaches you) you see his insides kinda come out his mouth... its almost like exactly like what happens when neo goes all liquid and gets pulled out of the matrix in matrix 1. has anyone else caught this or have i been watching too many movies this summer?

also both movies have machines and people and the machines and people talk to eachother......come on, I can loosely compare any two movies.

personally, i prefer T2 over Matrix...but that has nothing to do with this ridiculeous topic. the movies are totally different. this is like all those message boards discussions on how similar star wars is to star trek...or pokemon to yugi oh.

the movies are sci-fi...a lot of sci fi movies deal with robots/machines who are artificial intelligence taking over the world...the comparisons you mentione are riduculousy stupid...especially the liquid one.
