i had seen a few of these online and revieved a DVD striaght from BMW about a week ago. some of them are so clever and amazing short films. guy ritchey's "star" is by far the funniest and has the best driving sequence. John Frankenheimer's "ambush" is probably the coolest chase sequence. as for originality and creativity, tony scott's "beat the devil" is amazing! gary oldmen as the devil and james brown as himself. if you havent seen these, check out bmwfilms.com and download them or request a DVD from bmw. it's really good stuff.

I agree

All of the films are very well done. And you can't leave out John Woo's "Hostage" wich is kick ass!

I think I've watched them all....I really thought the first one was cool and stuff, but after a few more it gets a little old. It's always the same thing. Something happens, a car chase, an explosion, ect.

Yeah, I actually love John Woos short. It is one of the freshest films ive seen from him in some time (atleast since hes been in america) and Won Kr Wai's is great with Mickey Rourke. The shot in the airport while the woman is sleeping is gorgeous. All of "Ticker" is great as well (Dan Cheadelle and that incredible DP work) A really cool concept actually. I hope BMW keeps at it, and maybe offers amatuers a chance to do one. Would make a cool contest.
