hi did anyone see 1408? i missed the first 15-20 minutes of it and am not sure if thats why i dont understand it at all.... let me know if you got it. thanks.

it makes sense if you see the first 20 minutes. They set up a lot in there.

I saw it, and thought it was probably the best horror films in the last couple of years. But yes, the first 20 minutes are rather important... do you need any specifics?

I just read the short story a few days ago...according to what I know about the movie, they added a LOT to the script.

my questions were why was samuel l jackson saying very good mr enslin or what ever at the end and did john cusack smile for some other reason besides like he knew hearing his daughter meant that it wasnt fake or what?

whoa, if you don't know why Samuel said that, you REALLY have to watch the beginning. The whole plot hinged on that.

this will probably fill you in about it, but if I were you I would watch the whole movie through again.
