I personally loved the movie. I was told that the original cut was a lot darker than what was actually distributed. I enjoyed the story because it was slightly different than other superhero movies. It wasn't based on some Sci-Fi explanation as to why the characters had their powers, like radioactive poisoning of some sort, but more on the spiritual side. The fact that the characters had a choice between leading their lives as ordinary people (being able to love, have families, and grow old), and immortality, made me feel like the story was able to relate to real life: making choices. Anyways, before I say too much, I loved it.

Opposite for me, I liked the first half because of it's originality. It's an apathetic superhero, and they could've made the entire movie about his transformation instead of the "Oh, hey, convenient woman happens to be uber as well!"
