Whats up with this movie? I've seen a few commercials advertising it and it looks like a "Evil Dead cabin in the woods" type movie. Any body go the scoop of whats going on in this movie that comes out this Friday?
I'm actually happy all these horror movies have been coming out lately. Bringing back the genre of low budget gore movies.
it is about a group of teens that go to a cabin in the woods and a strange man shows up at there cabin infected with a flesh eating virus and eventuly each one of the teens gets infected. its supposed to have some pretty good gore in it.
the Boogeyman is real and you found him!

Cabin Fever isn't an orginal name for a movie/tv show... it's like Broken or something like that. Dark Night... expected cliche (catchy) I wouldn't worry about it, unless your story (characters and plot) are a mirror of the movie. :P
HELL YEAH Rider Strong! ( Shawn Hunter from boy meets word ) is back and this time on thebig screen. Ive heard things about this film... a dead infected body in the lake by a cabin a bunch of teens stay in effects their water. There is a scene where a girl is shaving her legs and along with the hair the skin and muscles starts peeling off with it... a flesh eating virus. Suppossed to be pretty gory and do for legs shaving what phsyco did for showers!! Im not usually a horror fan but this is one i cant pass up!
The only right way to tell a story is the way the director see's it... there is never a wrong way
Thanks for the opinion, AFC. I want to see CABIN because it was shot in my backyard (the NC Triad area). I also am looking forward to COLD CREEK also. Previews look good!!

I haven't seen Cabin Fever yet, but I know the director very well (Eli Roth). He went to my high school and is currently writing a film that takes place in and will be shot in my town.
I'm interested to see it. He's a cool guy.

Well my beef's with the actual screenplay... the direction/editing was sorta b-side horrorish but the screenplay didn't seem to feel write... it seemed like a first draft that would need 5 or 6 rewrites... I know I'm on my 3rd rewrite and I think my story's changing... Grrr... I thought writing would be easier - I thought wrong.
Just saw it last week at the drive in! I really dug it, since it was made to be a comedy horror flick, so you have to keep that in mind when watching it (shouldn't be too hard to do!). Cool effects.
BTW-Anyone see 28 Days Later? Decent film, but the lighting was too dark, and the music didn't fit at all!
Oh man I loved 28 Days Later, it was a zombie film with brains. I loved the music and thought it gave a very creepy vibe too it, that is definetely my kind of soundtrack.
But my favorite thing about it was the way it was filmed and the "look" of it. Has that Texas Chainsaw Massacre/Evil Dead old and grainy look. I love horror movies with that look. Very cool movie.
