It's not everyones favourite,
but check out L'AGE D'OR
classic 1930's surrealism masterpiece.

you can watch the whole film on youtube (Decent quality) for free, i think it's old enough to be public domain or something along those lines

I've been busy, but I've had a chance to see a few:

Raging Bull
A Scanner Darkly (VERY TRIPPY, very good)
Yojimbo
Ran

I must say, I'm starting to become a mighty big fan of Akira Kurosawa. Ran is epically beautifal, and Yojimbo is just darn-right good. I just got Seven Samurai, so that should be fun.

If you like Ran and Yojimbo, you'll love Seven Samurai.

A Scanner Darkly. Ugh. I hated it. It gave me a headache. The Sci-fi and drug things have both been done better before. It's by far my least favorite of the Philip K. Dick adaptations.
