Any horror fans out there? They just released a teaser trailer for Freddy vs. Jason the movie. You can go to www.joblo.com to see it or wherever else you go to watch trailers. But whatever, just thought I'd put that out there. I watched the trailer... and I'm not going to say anything until I see it, but in my opinion, it could be bad. But it couls also be good, so who knows. Never judge a book by its cover.

I hope they make a sequel that has Leatherface swinging around a chainsaw and a sledge while screaming pig-noises...he can be vs. Forrest Gump...since both characters are retards.

I will admit the trailer wasn't as crazy as the matrix reloaded one.. (yet the body coming out of the water was pretty dope ) Umm I don't really see the plot to the movie? Is it that Freddy and Jason are both alive and there can only be one killer so they try to kill each other while they terrorize a bunch of lame teenagers?

I will still watch this flick.. even tho I have been slacking off on the last few of Wes Cravens Freddy's.

Oh man, the plot is the most amazing thing about this movie. See, the parents make the kids start taking drugs that prevent them from dreaming, so Freddy's powers are rendered useless. So he hires Jason to kill everyone. Eventually, though, Freddy gets jealous because Jason is stealing the spotlight and they clash for the ultimate showdown.

SO AWESOME!

I gotta watch the rest of the NightMare on elm street ones that Wes did, I have the originals but I was told , there were ones like New Nightmare and all that? I gotta look in and do my Freddy research!

I have only seen the Nightmares Wes Craven worked on (the orginal and New Nightmare) and they are both great. I can't say the same for the others (they probably sucked and aren't worth it), but NOES 1 and New Nightmare are original, scary, and well worth the viewing.

The Jason movies are all formulated...most aren't worth the viewing (I took it upon myself to watch as many as possible last October). Although ones to check out are the original, the 3rd (in 3-D and Jason gets his mask), 6th, and Jason X. Those are the only stomachable ones.

Yah, there's a part (or so we have heard) where Freddy goes inside Jason's dreams and ****s with his already ****ed with ****ing head. ****kiy **** **** **** bastard boobies ***** **** **** **** **** ****. **** yah.

What he said about the plot was true, as far as I've heard. He gets insides Jason's head, and uses images to get him to do his bidding. Eventually, Jason catches on, and doesnt like to be toyed with. Henceforth the showdown.
Apparently, theyre already talkiung about sequels and making it a franchise, if this one does well. I'm a huge fan of horror movies, espcailly ones with the icons such as Freddy and Jason, and I think if this movie DOESNT suck, it might breathe some life into their franchises.
I mean, some of the past mnovies sucked (Final Friday blew my ass...but I loved Jason X cuz it totally messed with the whole concept of Jason, nad i thoight it was great.)
But yea, the icons NEED to be reinvented..and hopefully itll be goo.d

Actually, from the trailer it looks like it could be pretty fun. Just watching them hack the ever living piss out of eachother makes it worth while. Kane Hoder (aka: Jason for the lst few films) isnt in it. He read the script, and said it was beneath him as if they wouldnt do it without him. "Its a big guy in a hockey mask! Any big guy will do!" Besides, did he read the script for Jason X. Ughhh.... Oh well, may bl;oodshed abound.

Actually, Kane was trying to get this film made since his second spin as Jason back in 87. Once New Line bought Jason, it was inevitable it would happen (it was supposed to follow Final Friday and in timeline sequence, it does). They just didn't want Kane to play him because they wanted someone with a pshyical build to match Freddy (make it fair) and they wanted someone with "sympathetic eyes" cause apparently, they are digging into Jason's past for this one and want to get some emotion.
