Does anyone remember the 2004 indie movie that blew minds and killed brain cells due to it's need for painful thought processing? Yeah. I know you do. Shane Carruth is my hero.

Just in case you didn't see it or the film gave you short term memory loss: Wikipedia FTW [Primer]

That movie is beyond brilliant. Wow. I really need to watch it again. I was completely obsessed with it for months. (especially the whole part about making the entire film with only $6,000 if I remember correctly.)

I highly recommend this to everyone...so run to the library/add it to your netflix queue/etc. I believe its under an hour and a half too.

primer is a great sci fi film.
I think that people overlook the fact that it cost $7000 to get in the can, but probably cost thousands more to get through post.

regardless of the budget, it really deals with the whole time travel thing in the best way i have seen on film. I also dig how it is a really organic kind of movie. It isn't about effects or anything.
