Steven Spielberg's most recent pic, Catch Me if You Can. I remember falling head over heels for this movie last year when I saw in theaters, so much so that I saw it a second time just to enjoy the terrific ride this movie is. I had so much fun watching Frank Abagnale Jr. moving from con to con like a trapeze artist with the greatest of ease, I almost didn't want him to get caught. My only gripe was the overly long ending that kind of took some of the fun out of the movie. I think Spielberg could have easily removed the whole FBI epilogue from the movie and just ended it with Frank getting locked up. It would have offered an intelligent, if not a little depressing ending that would have given audiences some food for thought to chew on as they left the theater (Moulin Rouge is a good example of this). Anyway, I wholeheartedly recommend delaying, if not skipping altogether, the standard Christmas viewing list this year and checking out Catch Me if You Can. It's a great Christmas spirit booster that totally deserves to be another holiday staple.

my favorite christmas movie is trapped in paradise. for some reason this is viewed as a crap movie by the majority of the population but i love it and watch it with my parents every year.

Scrooged! Bill Murray's the bomb, yo. Well, on Christmas is a different story, I already saw ROTK so it looks like I'm going to go see Paycheck. Phillip K. Dick as been treated pretty well with his other movies so I'm hoping this one will be fun, you know, if John Woo is able to get over himself.

I wish I could find WHITE CHRISTMAS on TV somewhere (though I have it taped). It's my favorite holiday movie. I also enjoy Murray's SCROOGED and TRAPPED IN PARADISE, as well as A WONDERFUL LIFE. The original MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET is pretty good too.
For some reason, I never liked A CHRISTMAS STORY, though everyone else I know thinks it is THE movie to watch.
Oh well.

I just got an early Christmas present from my gal, and it turned out she bought me the DVD. I really enjoyed this film, and am planning on reading the book soon.
"Two mice fell into a bucket of cream... Which one am I?"
I just saw Bad Santa the other day...awesome. ****ed up and ****ing funny. The Coen Brothers had a big hand in it, so naturally there's a classic quote every 3 seconds.
As shown on imdb.com:
Willie: I beat the **** out of some kids today, but it was for a purpose.
Marcus: Your soul is dog****. Every single thing about you is ugly.
Gin: Santa likes to **** fat chicks in the ass.
The censor thingy on the message board is probaby going ****ing crazy censoring this ****ing **** on this goddamn post.
