It doesn't have an oscar winning plot, performance, story, look, what have you... but this is quite possibly the funniest movie I've ever seen. I cried 5 times when I saw it because I was laughing so hard. However I must warn you it's not for Indy Film brats, this gem is only for those truly gifted of mind! Smile

I heard that was good too. But it was Ebert and Roeper who gave it (like other dumb but funny comedies) a bad rating. They most definately can and will be wrong on comedies. I remember when they said Men in Black was a bad movie. On the other hand they probraly don't think much for teenages.

Everything I see (trailers, etc.) tells me this movie sucks, but everyone that sees it, tells me it's hilarious. Not counting here, I've had three other people tell me it's funny.

I'm going to have to go see it . . . but at the matinee!

Thanks for the input.

I saw it. I laughed. Let it be known that the trailer and commercials don't show you the funniest parts, which I actually appreciate.

As for my overall impression, I walked out of the theatre saying to myself, "hmm, that was pretty much exactly what I expected..." It's a college-type comedy with lots of crude (but funny) humor, plus Will Ferrell. Some jokes fall flat, some work. It's worth a look if you like that type of movie.
