United 93 is a painfull film about Anguish. Shot nicely like a documentary (with perfect editing also) , its nothing but a "exploitation" movie about people in pain. It remind me of "cannibal holocaust" - It has tension, horror and suspense but no message. Quality Filmmaking should have a message! Besides that, it has all the hollywood cliches you can get. The american hero and the terrorist that we hate. "United 93" wants to be fiction, a true Story or pure sensacionalism? I think it wants all that, making it very confusing to watch.
Like claude chabrol once said, I like the cinema that makes me think, not the one who makes me feel. The silence and respect was a better homage to the victims than this.
Sorry for possible errors, cheers.
