Wow - just watched "Saw" and I thought it was brilliant. It reminded me a lot of "Seven," although the actors weren't as good and who can direct as well as David Fincher? A movie with a ending that actually surprised me - I was blown away. If you like surprise endings and don't mind dark, gritty films - this could be the one for you.

Another "little" movie I rented was "Undertow" which I thought was great as well. The directing and acting were top notch. Same guy that directed "George Washington" and "All the Real Girls." It's one of those movies that some may describe as "it's like watching paint dry," but if you don't mind "slow" movies this one is pretty good.

Saw was definitely underrated. Along with The Usual Suspects, it had one of my favorite endings.

Eh, I couldn't stand Saw, simply because of the horrible acting. I agree however that the ending was great.
