Rodents of Unusual Size!! Well that just did it for me... And yes, all my friends are made to watch it with me too, by sheer force or out of a deep desire to make me shut up, which is very trying for them I'm sure. Poor darlings.

So what is it for you, that one movie that makes you want to run out and tell the world, sometimes against their will?

well, it is a must that all my friends and family watch Harvey, and at Christmas, when "It's a Wonderful Life" comes on TV, Everyone in the house must stop and watch, they're all like "but why, you have it on DVD!" But there's something special about the one time it's on TV each year, kinda like when u hear your fave song on the radio and have to turn it up, even when you just listened to it on the CD that you have right there in the car with you Wink

I just watched Alfred Hitchcock's, "The Truth about Harry."
This is a must see. Totally an unexpected turn for Hitchcock.

I watched Gone With The Wind a couple of weeks back. What was good about it was that it went on for ages (and I mean ages - about 4 hours), yet I didn't get bored at all. I then watched Casablanca afterwards and thought it was really short! (1hr 30mins)

I just got the "Man With No Name" Trilogy of Leone/Eastwood films and man I love em all they're great. Now I gotta see if I can Rent "Once Upon A Time..." cause it's the only one I haven't seen yet and I hear (well from Kyle I think) that it's the best.

yeah, Once Upon a Time in the West is, in my opinion, Sergio Leone's BEST masterpiece (All his movies are masterpieces)

I watched the wild bunch and targets. Pretty violent movies for the time. I also watched South Pacific, kinda of corny, but good. I saw Richard Linklater first film, Slacker, not as good as I thought, but I could see how it got the buzz back in the day.

I just saw Fight Club last night for the first time. Although it was confusing and random at times, i found it to be a very raw, enjoyable movie. What did you guy think of it?

I watched Ben-Hur last night. The thing was, I thought Side 2 of the disk was just extras, but it turned out to be an extra hour of the film, so it was bloody long. The chariot race at the end was really cool though.

How do you define a classic? I saw the Shawshank Redemption and The Lion King recently. They are great films but in the context of time are they classics yet?

I watched Dirty Harry again too. Now that is a classic.

I saw Citizen Kane for the first time a month ago. Great film. I had just heard about it being the greatest film of all time. At first I wasn't sure, but I found myself thinking about it a lot over the following days and weeks.

I also just saw Cabaret. It was a masterpiece.

I saw Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much. It was fun and suspenseful. I haven't seen any other Hitchcock films, but I am going to start working my way through them.
