Anyone see this yet?

Fantastic performances on the part of the Queen and Tony Blair, but other than that... slightly disappointing. It relied very heavily on archival (and faux-archival) footage, didn't quite justify itself as a movie. The directing and cinematography were barely present, and the story felt more like a tribute to Diana or a BBC TV special than a movie.

If the relationships and interactions within the royal family were accurate, it's worth seeing for that alone, but it's difficult to say if they were or not.

this is about princess diana? is she a character in it? i remember my art teacher giving us aslide show presentation about her, he always talked abotu such celebretities like he wasnt the only one who hated them and knew they were nothing "We dont care!" (in a way to make u realize, cause of coruse everyones watching entertainment tonight right now) anyway i got real beef with the royals over there as they are reptillian money scouts and wouldnt let poor people come & live on their grass (the sheep can graze tho...gotta love the sheep)

and how is it different than any of these bio pics? they all seem to set up for leading actor/actress oscar noms and not much else. or simply regurgitate (though i prefer to call it vomit in these cases). in fact the only bio pic in recent memory that i thought had anything to offer was "24 Hour Party People" so see it if u wanna a real Brit who actually had some impact on the world, and film that at least makes an attempt to portray, and mor eimportantly, explore that.

*note 24 Hour Party People recieved 0 nominations from the AMPAA
