Right I get the idea of masking his voice but when he delivers moralistic monologues sounding like the Cookie Monster I can't help but feel embarrassed.

Nolan is a great filmmaker and the Prestige is truly a great film, but this is not.

I understand disguising his voice, but this was the only thing about the movie that really annoyed me. I mean, come on he has all this billion dollar equipment... install a damn voice box or something Bruce lol.

I saw the movie twice, I guest I don't have to say that I liked it, but the only reason was the joker I think nolan, his brother and of course heath ledger did a great job creating this character and I'm pretty sure some credit should go to burton and jack because after all their joker was the base use to create the new one, but this one is way more darker you really understand what is driving him to do what his doing and really like how he explain the scars, and the ending between him and batman. I like christian bale but he sucks as batman, and yes it does gets boring when two face is on the screen the should have cut his time a little bit, the dialog is decent but no great. but not film is perfect, even memento has it's flaws.

I think Batman is just a spoiled little brat with really expansive toys, that uses Gothan city as his playground.

Because Spiderman doesn't push for any degree of believability.

But, I must admit, the end conversation between Batman and the Joker made me snicker at one point - philosphical the voice is not.

Joker - "You can't kill me. And I can't kill you because you're so much fun! We could do this forever!"

Me (whispering to friend): "No, they really can't since, you know, one of them is dead."

I tasteless joke I know, but I really didn't intend for it to be a joke.

Am I right in thinking this is Christopher Nolan's directorial debut? The movie audience last night cheered and clapped at the end of the film, which so rarely happens. Nolan seems incredibly well connected for someone so young!

I love reading all the negative remarks on this film. This is not a great film? Anyone, on this board, or the next, should be so fortunate to make a film like this.

Yesterday I went back for round 2, and i have to say that The Dark Knight just isn't as good the second time around... The only other film i have seen twice in the theatre this year is Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which i found to have much better repeat value.

Here is why i think The Dark Knight didn't impress me the second time around: It lacks emotion. I hate to say that i hardly feel emotionally invested in any of the characters, but honestly... the closest it comes for me is Harvey Dent.

I think that The Dark Knight will have to settle for an 8/10 for me.
