im planning to go see kill bill over the weekend, but before i do, id like to watch some films that directly influenced kill bill, because ive read that it will increase ones enjoyment/appreciation for kill bill if youve seen them. you know, cool revenge flics/ sword-kung fu flicks. so everyone please recommend some!

hell ill even recommend a few:
yojimbo
sanjuro

if youre looking for a witty signature, youre looking in the wrong place.

I havn't seen any of the films Tarantino has mentioned that influenced Kill Bill (OH MY GOD IS RIGHT)

But most films were exploitation genre and Kung Fu martial arts films, and Samurai movies (like you listed)

He refrences the Saw Brothers producing studios.....here's some films by Shaw Brothers (I havn't seen any of them, but Tarantino has mentioned a few as being huge influences);

Invincible pole Fighter
Fists of the White Lotus
Shaolin Master Killer
5 Deadly Venoms
Five Fingers of Death
Master Killer
New One-Armed Swordsman
Flying Guillotine
Executioners from Shaolin

-TacoWagonSuperFun!

KILL BILL - OPENS NATION WIDE OCTOBER 10th!!! THATS NEXT FRIDAY!!!!! AHHHH!!!!
