If I had to pick only one, I would shoot with Garden State. Call me a sentinmental femm-man, but I just watched it, and seem to find my self in a state of euphoria.

What are your guy's top choice for numero uno?

I hear you! Garden State was probably my favorite too. Does an excellent job of mixing comedy, romance, drama. However, I'm probably going to have to go with Fahrenheit 911. Just watching it now makes me ask, "what the hell was 51% of this country thinking?"

eternal sunshine, garden state, and the aviator were my favs of the year.

And I don't see how you can consider fahrenheit better than any of those films. just because the editing is pretty doesn't mean it's better than a masterpiece like eternal sunshine or any of the others i mentioned

It's simply my opinion. I feel that F 9/11 was the most significant film of the year because of how it reflected the political pandemonium in our country and just how divided this country was, and still is. (whether or not you agree with Moore or not). Eternal Sunshine was O.K, but extremely overrated and even boring in some parts.

Hey, I know that. You can have any opinion you want. If I sounded like I was attacking you or anything, that's not what I was trying to do. sorry! Smile

Sheet, I might as well add my least favorite film of the year, and NO! I'm not just saying this to contradict others.

Napleon Dynamite is the WORST movie of the year. It's not funny, and it really doesn't have a plot either! It's essentially a bunch of idiots being themselves in every day life.

I watched it a couple days back with a crowd of people and we all WATCHED IT. We didn't sit and joke around for hours like most people do when watching a movie at home. The girls thought it was hillarious, while the guys were saying... "If MTV bought this... we should film an 1 hour documentory about working at SportMart. Nothing will happen and the reviews will blow, but MTV will buy it."

I actually wanted to see it a bit, too. The part where he asks "Cool bike...! Take it off of any sweet jumps?" then crashes it was funny. In the commercials.

"Your girlfriend will find someone better. You will become homeless. And you know whats worse...? You will still suck at Tekken."

Yeah, I was also quite dissapointed with Napolean Dynamite. I seriously only laughed once or twice during the whole movie. I thought that Napolean always was too forced, and fake. The plot wasn't much really either. It was alright, better than some other comedies that are around, but for all the hype, it was too boring.

Anyways to answer the question, I haven't really watched enough to give a good answer, so I'm going to say, Eternal Sunshine, or Bourne Supremacy.

That's really ironic, everything u said was wrong with it is what I loved about it. I thought the way it was done was brilliant. You could tell that it had to be the most fun film to make just in the performances.

I totally forgot about those 2 movies. They WERE great movies. I saw man on fire with this really hot girl on our first date (she later became my girlfriend), and well....I didn't see a lot of the end, so I bought it later and loved the movie.

Bearing in mind that Australia gets most films about a half a year after the U.S (and also the fact I didn;t go to the cinema a lot last year) I'd say one of my favourites was Bad Santa. Billy Bob is hilarious. I can't think of any others right now.
