I just wanted to take a moment to pay tribute to a true Hollywood great. Sydney Pollack will be best remembered for his hugely successful films "They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" "Tootsie" and "Out of Africa."

He had a profound impact on my desire to become a filmmaker and to hear of his death from cancer pains me terribly. He was a master at what he did - as a director, producer, actor - he set a new standard. He will be missed terribly.
