oh right! i cant believe i forgot about that. i guess i didnt remember because that ...guy...wasnt really much of a baddie. (in terms of looks acting and time in the film, not by what he did)

if youre looking for a witty signature, youre looking in the wrong place.

I will say I liked the look of the film. Rod. made the interiors look incredible. As for exteriors...Well nothing old Robert could do, HD just is not ready for the day exterior.

But all this took a while to find...because the story was SOOO bad!

Personaly I think Robert is playing too many roles. If you have that many key roles in a movie, one of your roles will suffer. Unfortunatly the storytelling and directing aspects suffered in this one. (and sometimes cinematography)

tizz, i agree. but i have one question. first off, my print was pretty steller, the color was amazing. but, other than that when the presidents assistant, the one who makes the deals and what not meets with depp, it seemed like there was an editing problem. depp left and then the sceen had a hard cut and i saw the assistant puking in the alley, then another hard cut to the next scene. i dont know if that was jsut my print or if something was awry there, or i had just didnt catch what was going on there.

i was reading the sub titles in el mariachi so i expected it to not be the greatest...but face it, most of his other films have ****ty dialogue too, save for his bit in four rooms and if he wrote from dusk till dawn (i think he did).

the el mariachi story was too plain, there weren't enough interesting aspects to it. i enjoyed his "Bed Head" short on the DVD much more than all of el mariachi.

horrible story....truly and deeply BAD...I really do not know HOW you can write something like this! That was just nonsense...and I do not look for a deep storyline, desperado was perfect.

Oh wow, Hi DEf!!! I was POSITIVELY surprised by the quality (interiours). I never liked digital, but this looked quite good, Except the faces imho.

Jonny depps character, I loved himSmile comic book style, nonsense but so stylishSmile

all in all a big dissapointment

Yeah it is pretty obvious that tarantino wrote Dusk till Dawn. "Whats in Mexico?" "Mexicans."
