I'm a sucker for neo-noirs. I thought it was about a 3.75 star movie(out of 4). What did you all think?

I dug it.

Great film, although it's probably closer to German expressionism than noir in terms of influences. The first twenty minutes, with very little dialogue, are visually brilliant. Rufus Sewell gives a nice low-key leading turn, as well. The scene when he shatters the glass of the holding room is excellent.

Too bad Proyas didn't follow this with equally ambitious and compelling projects.
