We need to change the title of this forum to "Film Discussions."
With that foreboding opening, let me begin. There was actually never a dull moment in this movie. It never dragged, and I was willing to follow it wherever it went. The film was totally engrossing, and very well crafted. The only problem is, it went nowhere.
I feel like the idea was fundamentally flawed, and nothing could actually have been done differently to save it. If anymore had been at stake, or any more had happened, it would have felt very contrived. The way the film was set up prevented a more dramatic storyline. Thus, it was limited by its very concept.
Well worth seeing, with fantastic performances all around, and a unique and fresh style, but ultimately about nothing.
