After hearing some good reviews and buzz, I was wondering what your guys's opinion on the film PI was.

Well first off the movie is a total trip. It has a raw b&w, music video like pace with LOTS of close-ups, quick cuts, and wonderful shots created by strapping the camera to the actor. You'll see what I'm talking about when you watch the film. As far as story goes...it has to be one of the most original stories I have ever heard. The story works sort of like the Matrix in that the more you think about it the crazier it is. What pulls this film even further away from the lots of "Hollywood" and "Indie" films is Darren Aronofsky's unique style. The range is incredible considering that this is his FIRST FEATURE FILM. It's like the Citizen Kane of Indie. Watch it you'll love it.....then check out Requiem for a Dream. Even though PI is better.
