I saw the Flying Daggers the other day and started to wonder, many says that special effects are bad, was the effects bad even in this one?

I loved the movie and found only 2 misstakes, one with the sun and the other one was something I can't recall right now.

The best scene I think was in the bambu forest, it was really nicely done and cool.

I would like to know what others liked about the movie. It was different and cool if you ask me and I would like to see it again.

How did it compare to Hero?

I can't compare those 2 cause it was a long while ago I last saw Hero, but I think these movies are alike in fighting and story telling.

I loved them both.

I liked it allot more than Hero. The cinematography and especially the sound design (see this movie cranked up) were really well done.
