Picture of The Company

I saw thing not long ago and was blown away. I don't recall ever being so 'involved' in a character as I was with Pacino's Charlie Brigante. Every move he made, every decision, had me captivated. I hoped against hope he would find a way to get out of his situation. I saw him get shot and be carried away by the ambulance at the very start. I knew his end would come soon yet I really hoped it wouldn't. The supporting cast (Sean Penn, Penelope Ann Miller) are also very good, but it was the great Pacino who had me inthralled. I thouroughly recommend this film to anyone who hadn't seen it.

I totally agree.
I saw this when it was released at the cinemas and was just blown away. I didnt recognise sean penn at all the 1st time either, he is playing such a slimy, jewish scumbag lawyer.
Most of you would know already that this was an "unofficial" sequel to Scarface ( those that dont i am sure will write back very shortly saying this is bull****).
Anyway, the same crew got together and wanted to make a semi-sequel to scarface.
Think about it, Tont Montana died in scarface, but if he didnt, he would of gone to jail and been about Charlie Brigante' age in carlitos way.
Its hard to explain, but it is true.
There are even some similarities.........the billboard where you think it is the scenery then realise when it pans that it was just a billboard.
Anyway, to the point.............this film ROCKS!

wow. i loved this movie. this is probably one of the best Pacino flicks ever...this, Scarface, The Godfather trilogy, and Dog Day Afternoon- absolutely his best roles.

His worst role? in S1M0NE.
