Tis good. Have any of you seen Jackson's early work BAD TASTE. If you haven't and loved Dead Alive, you will love this one. Done with his friends over a 4 year period.

The Frighteners, though being one of the most underrated Peter Jackson flicks, is really good as well.

Yeah, Dead alive is great, and Ive heard of bad taste, but havent had the pleasure yet of watching it. The frighteners rocked, and I just heard, thats the laser disc version of that flick has comentary and a 4 hor long behind the scenes special!! Good God! Ofcourse the DVD dosent have jack, and it is considered one of the hardest laser discs to find, so....

If you haven't see Jackson's horror arsenal b4 LOTR, here's a rundown:

Bad Taste (1987) His first feature, the ultimate in low budget horror. His skill for ingenius direction, knack for black comedy and utilisation of effects is extremely evident here

Meet the Feebles (1989) The Muppets on acid. This satire of puppet shows as well as a social characters is one of the funniest films ull ever see. Jackson's collection of puppets creates the most believable and funny characters you'll ever see

Braindead (Dead Alive)(1992) Jackson's ultimate horror film. This is easily the most violent and funny horror film ever made which in my opinion is better than Evil Dead 2 which it is always compared to. Once again the script, acting and effects for it's budget are unbelievable. Try and get the real Braindead cut which is 100 mins pal time or 104 mins ntsc, complete and uncut...brilliant
