Other than having Christian Bale (American ****ing Psycho!!!), I'm not seeing much into this. I know I'm not the only one who was disapointed with what Chirs Nolan did with "Insomnia" and I'm just not seeing anything here. And was that samaurais in the trailer or was it just the mushrooms my mom fed me for christmas dinner?

Its supposed to get back tot he hardcore, dark Batman that he's supposed to be. Not the crappy stuff we've seen recently, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Still, look how far he's come:

Adam West was seriously the best Batman.

It was kitschy and funny, yet you completely got what batman was about: a detective that wouldn't take anyone's life no matter what.

Like Adam West's Batman captures what Bob Kane originally made.

Adam West was the worst. Friggen awful campy BS. I'll take Keaton on this one. When I think batman I want the Dark Knight not a gay circus side show.

"Holy homophobia Batman did he just call us gay?"

"I'm afraid so Robin. To the the bat-tub!"

Im actually somewhat excited. It's going to the back story, as in Bruce Wayne becoming Batman, which is always good.

If you want Batman to be comical, watch Adam West. He's the kiddie Batman.

I want the Batman who is dark and mysterious, seeking vengeance and justice. they call him the Dark Knight for that reason.

I think Christian Bale is an awesome choice. He plays, calm, reserved characters very well (Equillibriam). But he can also snap into combat, aggressive mode in a flash, just like Batman would. I can't wait, and I think it will outdo Spiderman.

I got my fingers crossed too... this could really go either way from the trailors it looks really sweet I just hope that he isnt "training" the whole movie and then we only spend like 20 min with him as batman. As long as that doesnt happen I can see this movie being really great

I have some faith in this movie, I think it will easily beat the horrors of Batman and Robin. I worked on set not too long ago with Mark Boone who had a small part in the movie as a detective called "Flask" or something like that and he said that this movie seems like it will be very dark. But Boone wouldnt exactly tell me what his character does but apparently he plays an important role in the plot. You people may remember Mark Boone in Chris Nolan's movie Memento as the Hotel Manager. I think this movie will be a good flick, its among my must see list for the summer lineup.
