That is one of my favorite movies, but it has been awhile since I've seen it. CHL was shot in the throat (if I remember correctly) and the ending was ambiguous as to whether he lives or not. My opinion is that they drag him off to the prison/prison hospital. The Good (bad) guys win - ie: the warden and guards; and the Bad (good) guys lose - Paul Newman. "I'm shakin' it boss. I'm-a-still shakin' it boss." Good movie. If you liked that one, try BRUBAKER. True story about a prison reform warden in Georgia, starring Robert Redford. Kind slows down at the end, but still interesting. Has a young Morgan Freeman in a bit role as a psycho prisoner.

To find out if a film ius good, I do the "Hopper test." the "Hopper test" is when I look at the credits of a film and check to find the ingredient "Dennis Hopper." If you find "Dennis Hopper" than the film automatically kicks ***. This aplies to all films. Yes, even "Waterworld." I advise all of you to use the "Hopper test" yourselves.
