This movie surprised me. I have been patiently awaiting the release of the DVD, since the movie was only released in England.
It's an action-adventure horror movie that is slightly predictable but fun nonetheless. What I liked most about it is that they could have used CGI but instead opted for just good old filmmaking techniques.
Basically these British soldiers are sent to the Scottish Highlands for training. They get there and after their first night, all hell breaks loose and they realize that this is no ordinary training exercise. They are rescued by a woman driving down a road as they outrun the werewolves and are taken to the only house in 50 miles because one of the platoon has been wounded badly. What ensues there is humor, horror and non-stop action - oh yeah and lots of bloodshed. As the platoon of 5 soldiers, 1 woman and a guy you just love to hate await for dawn, fighting these wolves with everything they've got, the story begins to unfold and give itself away in spots but it is still quite enjoyable.
If you love a fast paced film with likely heros and unlikely villians, then make this a must-see rental.

I dont know about overseas, but it is avaliable for rent at Blockbuster, plus, I saw the edited version on the Sci-fi channel. A pretty good flick. Lots of gun blazing violence, and werwolf related gore. A cool flick. if you like werewolf movies, and action flicks, deffinently check it out. R. M. McWhorter
