Bamboozled was a Great Movie. the only reason critics hated on it was that it wasnt as good as Spike's Other Classics like "Do the Right thing" and "Malcom X", but those are offly hard to beat, plus its a perfect display of the use of Stereotypes in Hollywood. Tap Dancer Savion Glover gives a very good performance along with a suprisingly good performance by Tommy Davidson who usually does not act in dramas and Michael Rappaport gives perhaps the best performance in this Film as a "Doesnt Think he's Racist" racist. Damon Wayans is also interesting playing a Black man who knows he doesnt have to be "Street" or "Thug" to be Black. And perhaps the greatest Rapper in the world Mos Def brings a Great supporting performance also. The plot to this Flick is as Creative as it gets and satarizes the American Audience's need for stupid TV, and in this case, super offensive TV. Also, Spike definitelly brings it wityh the music, having some of the greatest Jazz in his flick since "mo Better Blues". the Screenplay to ths is also something that young film makers should check out, there are no 2D characters here, each one of them suprises you. Spike also proves that you dont need a Big Budget or Special effects to make a quality film. I can't stand when Roger Ebert gives stupid action flicks like the Hulk 2 thumbs up, but does not for actual quality films. All of y'all should definitely check this one out. My politicaly incorrect thoughts on this movie would bring me alot of greif...so therefore I refrain from stating my opinion. "Pain is temporary, Film is forever"-Peter Jackson "Art only does so much, and sometimes it doesn't even pay the bills!"-AFC President http://www.ErwinBrothers.com

That's a pretty gutless statement. Bamboozled sucked. Not for political reasons I liked the premise. But for production issues, it looked like Sh*t, seriously I am the first to stick up for digital filmaking but this movie actually hurt the digital movement. The cinematographer was trained in film so when she got her hands on DV she didn't know what to do with it, hence a crappy picture. Oh well at least they didn't blow to much cash on this one.
