You don't explain why they're great or even why they changed your life.
I'm not interested in wasting anyone's time with bull**** pseudo-intellectual reasons for why a movie changed my life or not. Sometimes things are not explainable or better left unsaid. (Would be a helpful concept to Kubrick77 and occasionally to you. (Just my opinion). I can be an ass-hole sometimes also. I encourage these movies to be seen. They affected me in a big way emotionally and intellectually- but mostly emotionally-(more important I think).

Then why don't you give a truly intellectually explanation as to why those movies changed you. There must be a reason, and don't worry, you're not wasting anyone's time; this is a discussion afterall. Besides, how can you be any kind of a director if you cannot recognize what aspects you like of the films you like. quote: Sometimes things are not explainable or better left unsaid
Personally, I couldn't agree with you more, but, once again, this is a discussion, in which things are better when talked about.
