Because we grew up with fantasy and action. And even though I've grown up and now like a little more than just action, I still appreciate a good stylized hack and slash, shmup every now and then. I'm also grown enough to like Zack Snyder's stylized action better than Michael Bay's filth. At the end of the day, you've got to ask yourself just this one thing: What's wrong with a little homoerotic violence?

Are the majority of Sin City, 300 or Tarintino (post Pulp Fiction) films stupid idiots? Look at the demographics, please.

Well, that answer is simple, yes. But that's only because you'll find a stupid majority in cases of most anything. For example, this thread, you have the majority of post, and you're not proving that you're not a ****ing toolbox. So really the idiot majority, sadly, isn't making the case against Tarintino or Miller. It is, however, your moronic posts and Michael Bay's horrible films which leave a rancid stain on this holy earth. Please, go obtain brain damage, people generally don't mind talking to an idiot who can't help but be an idiot.

Oh come on, Tarantino's way more interesting than most American directors and he's made his own kind of action subgenre. Jackie Brown is actually a beautiful mainstream film, and Kill Bill vol. 1 is brilliant and unique.

Anyway, when you say his films are stupid, what's do you think is a not-stupid film?

Seriously...who is this guy (Film_Jock)? He seems to be on these boards criticizing people left and right.

...Sounds like someone is relieving their tension by an alternate "anonymous" account and lame cynicism.
I used assonance in that sentence... I am such a good writer.

Yeah Film Jock has been posting a bunch of nasty responses the past couple of days for no apparent reason other than to piss people off- I wouldn't take anything he says too seriously.
