The Secret Window is by far one of my all time favorite films... not only because it possesses one of our times most talented actors, but because of symbolism, camera positions, and genuine artistry on David Koepp's part throughout! The screenplay itself was so well-written and so real that just listening to the words themselves provoked you to fear this REALLY happening. And every symbol you see the second time around just hits you over and over again. And the beginning scene in the car? Well, don't even get me started on the genius in THAT...
If you disagree, drop a comment. If you agree... give me a half five, I like to talk about the films I love either way. - Kim

This reminds me that I have a VHS (!) copy of Secret Window sitting at the very bottom of one of my drawers. I think I'm gonna dig it out and watch it tonight, because I completely forget what I thought about it on my first viewing. I'll let you know how I feel.
I will say that Johnny Depp is pretty much in a league of his own when it comes to acting.
