I'd say either a) Titanic... mostly for Kate Winslet and the iconic hand-against-foggy window... or b) Meet Joe Black, mostly for how it was filmed. (Very stark lighting, bright and clear.) I know there's more, but these are the ones that come to mind. What do you think?

Without a doubt... Kate Winslet again in Little Children. Hands down.

Mulholland Drive is usually my answer for "best" in any category, including this one

How are we rating this scene? Is it for artistic merit or on the level of how hot it is. I would have to agree with Mulholland Drive though as the best on both levels.

I'd say overall. How sexy, how well shot, and beautiful is it. Fortunately hot and artistic can easily go together.

Isn't "Mulholland Drive" a film by David Lynch? "Little Children" had one of the best trailer's I've seen in a long time. So bizarre. I can't wait to see the film.

I actually have to agree with the Mulholland Drive vote, mainly because it is so intrinsic to the story.

I'd like to suggest the sex scene on the stairs in 'A History of Violence'...

Blue Velvet had the best "freaky" sex scene. David Lynch scores twice!

But I really liked Unbearable Lightness of Being overall.

I'd say Meg Ryan/Nicholas Cage in City of Angels for "virgin" sex... and for a beautiful scene of erotic romance alone... Jennifer Garner in Catch and Release... the camera shots just made it all... "pretty".
