Anybody catch this FX ORIGINAL movie playing on non other than the FX cable channel?

It was well done, story wise it was weak basically because they were, of course, glorifying the cops.

But the action sequences and shootouts were pretty cool. The cineamatograpghy was pretty sweet as well.

Plus Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs and upcoming KILL BILL) is in it. Kinda ironic that he's a cop killer psycho in Reservoir Dogs, and in 44 Minutes he's a good cop. Huh.

I'd give the film a 7 out of 10.

I thought all that pre experience bullshít didn't need to be there. Like with the black cop talking to the white kid from the hood. They tried to make him into a diluted youth down the wrong path by over exaggerating the disposition of a teen in the projects. And then the latino bank worker, where he was talking to the lady in the vault about getting robbed and the ink, that was cliched to death. The rest of it was okay... without madsen it would have been... crap.

I give it a 5/10. I'd give it maybe a 7 if it was actually 44 minutes long.

Yeah, they were trying to establish the characters and all by showing what their every day life is like as a cop. I didn't like that. I really hated that black cop...I thought he overracted every scene he was in. Plus the creators of the film expected us to feel for this idiot when he gets shot and all...I was hoping he would die.

The movie was like your standard hour & a half...might even had been 2 hours. I can't remember.

Yeah...if they gave me a shotgun I could've killed 'em easy as pie. Set me up 700 feet away with a sniper rifle I couldve got 'em
