Yeah Mirimax crapped on it. In terms of budget it was extremley lean concidering it was an action movie with such scope but a great final film. Mirimax feared it was "too much like the Matrix" Too much like Farenhieght 451 perhaps but not every trench wearing, gun slinging film is a Wachowski rip. They bassically did a small release just to justify higher cable and video sales. Much like Boondock Saints a gem that never got what it deserved. R.
