To my utter disbelief, a friend of mine told me today that Jerry Lewis starred and acted in a film set in the holocaust where he played a clown that would entertain children to distract them from the fact they were going into the gas chambers. The film, however, was so terribly made (and due to a dispute over who owns the right to the script) that Jerry Lewis owns the only copy of it and refuses to show it to anybody. Really interesting story, you can read the script and articles about it here. Have any of you guys ever heard of this before?

Yes, I've heard of this. The film sounds interesting... but Jerry Lewis sucks.

I still maintain that given the right production, Arnold S. could win an Oscar for portraying an aging, tragic, tormented SS guard.
