just caught this movie and, although i found it kind of slow, i was really impressed with gene hackman and dustin hoffman's preformances. i havent seen anything with these guys in awile, but thought this to be a great piece for both of them. any thoughts?

I don't think it will be remembered as a classic (its not thaaat good.) But the movie was very well done and extremely entertaining. Dustin Haufman (sp?) help up his end nicely, but Gene Hackman was just great. I would see it again, but not that many times. Story was good, not great, but good.

I liked it, though it wasn't the best movie out this year. I thought Hackman was great. Story was ok. I also like John Cusack and thought he did a nice job.
