Has anyone else seen this Martin Scorsese directed documentary on Bob Dylan. I watched Part One on TV a few nights back and thouroughly enjoyed it, and am looking forward to Part Two. Then again I'm a pretty huge Bob Dylan fan so my opinion is sort of...damn what's the word?
Anyway, seeing as though this is the "Film Recommendations" Forum, I thought I'd recommend this film (particularly to those who enjoyed Scorsese's previous music documentaries).

My sister went to the premiere and got me some free stuff, including the DVD. It's pretty good, and has lots of commentary by the man himself, plus lots of live performances.

Oh man! I just saw Part Two of this documentary and it was WAY better than the first. I seriously have to buy this.
How good was that press conferance scene where Dylan's just sitting there smoking a cigarette and all this idiots are asking him these stupid questions (like the dude who had spent a lot of time thinking about the motorcylce on his shirt).
A thought occurs: Is Scorsese eligble for an Oscar for this film? maybe he could finally get that Academy Award they've been dying to give him. Then Burton can win one for Berst animated feature, and just like that two awesome directors get one.
Anyway, awesome documentary. Big Grin
