Trying not to get my hopes up, but the film looks pretty good. Sandler, much like Jim Carey started their acting as comics, but have evolved. Sandler did very well in Punch Drunk Love and Jim blew me away in The Majestic and Eternal Sunshine. I also love Don Cheadle, so here's the trailer:

ok is it just me, or does adam sandler's character remind you of bob dylan? everything... the appearance (especially the hair), the persona... its all like bob.

I believe this is based on a true story, so any resemblence in character may just be coincidental.

Who cares though? It looks good to me too.

It was a really good movie, made it easy for the viewer to connect and feel for the characters. For me, the only negative was Adam Sandler. Don't get me wrong, he was an amazing actor in the movie and couldn't have done any better, but I just couldn't distance his character from his past characters. Just his voice and manorisms stayed the same, could have been a great movie. Still worth seeing though.

Tell me something, have you all seen the trailer for this? There's one point in the trailer that is just ridiculously funny and downright bizarre. Try and catch it. Let's see what you guys come up with.
