that's one of my favorites of all time. The criterion collection dvd has tons of cool stuff on it (and the transfer is criterion quality). It is hands down the best film about filmmaking.

dunno. i couldnt find it on vid where i live, i had to tape it on tv. im pretty sure there is a dvd release of it though.

There's a couple different releases of it on dvd. I recomend getting your hands on the criterion collection version.

I just saw La Strada in Film History class and was blown away by Fellini's style I've heard that 8 1/2 is his best so I look forward to seeing the whole movie as we were only shown clips. The opening scene of 8 1/2 inspired many a rip off (or homage) like Falling Down and a few Woody Allen movies.
